Because without intervention it will? I dont know why people compare fetuses to sperm. They're not the same. Egotistical ? No I'm merely deconstructing the poor logic most people apply to killing a fetus. FYI we are all just a clump of cells and the whole week cut off things are pretty damn arbitrary. It's definitely more similar to XC1 than to X, such that I kind of consider X to be a spinoff. Overall, I don't think I'd say 2 is as good as 1, but 1 is one of my favourite games ever, so that shouldn't be taken as reflecting poorly on 2. It is still a very thoroughly enjoyable game.

I liked 2 a lot more than I liked one. The gameplay is just more fun. I also found that it was a lot better at getting you into the game where with 1 it just threw too many things at you so quickly and poorly explained that I was overwhelmed and just didnt do any of it.

That was my first boss and I beat him with 4 hearts... granted I died the first time, but beat him on my second attempt. The only boss that gave me trouble was that stupid camel boss.

I did the whole game with only hearts from the divine beasts. Put my all my stuff into stamina.

People define what it means to be Final Fantasy in different ways so uh I cant answer that question for you. The whole bros in a car meme is pretty overblown. It felt like a final fantasy game to me.

the game is characterized by some pretty big highs and lows. The plot had a lot of potential and whats going on is really neat but its delivered badly. The gameplay is fun and entertaining but could have been a lot deeper and better than what they released. The open world is a thing but its frontloaded early into the game and then youre rail roaded hard through the remaining like 9/15 chapters with a ton of story events happen off screen. Its also incredibly shallow with only one real city and a bunch of gas stations. The end of the game is pretty well delivered and made up for its trash pacing though. I really like the game when I played it but was kind of frustrated because I could see the potential for masterpiece 5/5 in the game instead of the 4/5 we did get.

Even video games is heavily dominated by men to the point that no top female players really exist. At best you get something like professional mediocre players. It begs the question if the lack of women at high levels of skill is more due to a lack of interest than an lack of ability even in non-strength related sports.

Gaming is a whole other thing.

I for one really hated when I got to online gaming and voice chat. People got immediately shitty. Lost track of how often i was told I was going to be raped, had people threaten to stalk and murder me, and now just deal with general clinger creeps every in basic shit like StarCraft.

The attention you get being a woman gaming sucks and I don't blame any women for not wanting to be subject to or participate in gaming culture. Even legit twitch streamers that don't suck at playing get accused of just being attention whores. Women aren't allowed to enjoy gaming publicly without some nasty treatment. Gaming gatekeepers

Not to diminish your negative experience in video games but its kind of terrible for anyone involved. Rape talk wasn't limited to just women. Video game trash talk is a whole new level of depravity really. Which is basically to say that we all experienced pretty terrible trash talking but it didn't stop plenty of men from playing anyway.

I don't get on well with WoW cause I have the mindset of playing through as much of the old, original content as I can before moving on to the newer stuff. But not a whole lot of people are interested in doing that and the leveling process is so sped up that I feel like I'm wasting time in certain areas cause I'll move to a new area and already outlevel it by 5 levels when I get there.

@PuddingBoypud it might be more your style now. They recently changed the leveling experience so that certain parts scale up to certain levels. Vanilla scales to like level 60. Burning crusade and wotlk scale to 80 etc. Now you can do areas without feeling like you're just rolling through everything too quickly. Areas still have a level floor though so you can't roll through the burning steppes at level 5.

Replaying Mother 3 made me realize how much I love this game. Ive been maiming Shulk/Ness/Duck Hunt... but I might be replacing Ness this time around.

I like Lucas WAY more. Hopefully he has some good kill options in Sma5h outside of PK Rocket and his back throw.

Lucas is actually one of my mains in smash 4. I love his backward air. You can do a pretty nasty spike with it. I also love his neutral air because its just satisfying to watch it land.

I'm going with the Vita. It was very poorly supported and absurdly expensive. It cost as much as a home console and had absurdly expensive SD cards which basically added to the already large cost of the vita. I was tempted to buy it for P4G at some point but the SD card was where I drew the line.

But there is incredibly deep lore and backstory.

The magic though is kind of badly explained. There isnt even an explanation of how it works. They just flick their wrists say a word or two and they can do basically anything at seemingly no cost. Thats not very deep fantasy. Theres also social hierarchy in a world where magic has no cost and spells dont seem to require much skill to cast. Doesnt really make much sense. I would say its light fantasy.

This looks like a mainline game remake. Not a spin off. Kind of disappointed its not a new region. We really didn't need ANOTHER kanto remake.

40 is the cutoff for kids when you're a woman, unless you're doing some selective fertilization. The chances of having a kid with a serious birth/genetic defect is under 1 in 100 past the age of 40. The earlier you have kids, the bettet chances for them being healthier.

Edit: I should mention that it typically has that female focus because the eggs start to deteriorate over time leading up to menopause. Guys are pretty much fine as long as they're still fertile since sperm(s?) are made on the daily.

Fun fact. Men are not exempt from this problem but late paternal age is 50 for us.

But he told no one. And then when he died he's just like "oh yeah, she's coming. Have fun, I'm out!"

He already knew the course of events that would have to take place. There was no real stopping Hela. No amount of preparation that would change anything. Odin knew that Asgard would have to be destroyed. It was all part of the ragnarok prophecy.

I wonder if the Royal Edition fixed some of the problems.

I think the DLCs sort of address the off screen problem and they've been updating the gameplay a lot over the past year so its possible some things have been fixed. Unfortunately I don't think they fixed the pacing problem. The DLCs aren't worked into the main story they're just their own separate files you have to access from the title screen from what i've heard.

I wouldn't buy it now anyway. It still has DLC getting released for it over the next year. I'd just wait for like the final complete edition of it. Maybe they'll work the DLC in a little more organically into the main story, maybe they won't. Either way you're better off waiting for all of it to come out and paying 60 dollars instead of dropping money on the season pass.

It's not so much nostalgia as it is TLJ was just a bad Star Wars movie. It actively took an established universe, story, lore and characters and shat all over them. For no real reason. If you're going to do that, you have to construct something meaningful to replace that. At no point in the movie do they do this. In fact, the movie contradicts itself constantly. It felt like Rian Johnson had no idea what he was doing, or he just didn't care. For example, Near the end of the movie there's only one rebel ship left, and they need a distraction so the survivors can land on Crait. Laura Dern's character decides to sacrifice herself to save the rebels. It's a hero moment, and it falls in line with established themes in past Star Wars movies. In A New Hope. Obi-wan sacrificed himself so Luke, Han and Leia can get off the Death Star. It's something that makes sense in the setting. So after a character sacrifices herself to move the plot, a few moments later Finn is about to sacrifice himself to save the rebels, but all of a sudden Rose comes out of nowhere and stops him and spits out some nonsense about "we don't do that! we don't sacrifice ourselves for the greater good! we have to fight them with love...!" What in the flying fuck? Where is that coming from? It's absolute nonsense. It's like they stopped the natural progression of plot and storytelling so Luke can have a force heart attack and die for no reason. Nostalgia or fandom has nothing to do with it, it was just bad film making.

I'm not sure that's what the scene was saying. I mean its not like you couldn't have killed all 3 of them in a row. Finn's story just isn't over.

You could argue the NRA's strong opposition to ANY kind of gun control is the reason why you're getting more and more of a push for total banning of guns. We have no way of knowing how beneficial or harmful guns are to our society since we spent the past two decades banning research of guns. We watch as lone wolf shootings happen in seemingly increasing numbers yet no action is being taken. As a result, many people are forced to believe any and all guns are the problem even though they likely aren't the real problem with all these killing sprees.

I preferred XIII's turn based combat to most of the series' turn based combat. People talk about just pressing one button the whole game. Except that if you did that you'd probably get rolled. The fact is that most people who actually got through the whole game complained that it was too fast (too hard). Which is why XIII-2 was slower than its predecessor. I like that XIII is decently tough for a final fantasy.
