It's not due to Hamas that the aid isn't reaching people, it's due to the Israeli citizens and IDF stopping convoys and confiscating or destroying goods.
I know that the settlers are trying that at various entry points, but I believe the vast majority still goes through

They want slaves, is all.

Slaves would actually solve the issue for the rich since, by virtue of being property that needs to be taken care of to a minimum degree, slaves would actually be able to have children without worrying about their finances. You know, not HAVING finances beyond any sort of company/good behavior scrip or stuff like that, if even that.

Turns out once you are no longer using serfdom or slaves, that you can't just use the same "work everything out of them" technique that works on serfs and slaves without downsides.

There are penalties and taxes if withdrawing from 401k before a certain age. Did you account for that?

https://www.investopedia.com/how-roth-conversion-ladder-works-5214808

Heres an example. Say you want to retire at 45, and you anticipate needing $50,000 a year to live comfortably. Because you have to wait five years to withdraw each converted amount, you start building your ladder at age 40 by doing a Roth IRA conversion for $50,000.

The following year, you do another Roth IRA conversion for $50,000, and so on until you reach age 54. At that point, the series of conversions you already did will cover you through age 59. Thats when you can start taking penalty-free withdrawals from your other retirement accounts and tax- and penalty-free withdrawals from your Roth IRA (if you still have a balance).

Note that this strategy requires you to have $250,000 in retirement savings to convert. The same technique can be employed using lower amounts, of courseor higher ones. Ideally, you would plan early in retirement to have saved enough in your tax-advantaged retirement accounts to create a conversion ladder that will yield what you need.

I wonder if it's similar to credit cards where certain digits are going to be mandatory. For example

First digit
The Major Industry Identifier (MII) indicates the credit card network and industry. For example, American Express numbers start with 34 or 37, Visa numbers start with 4, Mastercard numbers start with 2 or 5, and Discover numbers start with 6.

Next five to eight digits
The Issuer Identification Number (IIN) or Bank Identification Number (BIN) identifies the card issuer and network.

Remaining digits
Identify the cardholder's account.

Ehh, it's just best to remember that depending on your media diet, these kinds of stories are amplified and are seemingly more common than they might be.

Walkable cities exist already. Forget about the more idealistic hope of 15 minute cities or whatever.

The main important parts are
Denser housing that allows for more people in a smaller area. This doesn't mean everyone is packed into a tin can apartment. You can still have sfh, duplexes, townhomes, etc. Are you against this? Not do you have to live in one, but are you fine with these being more prevalent?

Then zoning changes to allow for more commercial type businesses to be around the new housing. Businesses that are within walking/biking distance and that have adequate public transportation close by. Are you also fine with towns and cities changing to allow that?

Picture your current suburb but with your main amenities within walking distance like GoldenEel mentioned earlier

in the summer if I didnt have to go into work we could go a whole without needing to drive anywhere

whats not to love?

This as well. You don't need a new York city in order to have denser housing and better land zoning policy that allows different types of businesses to exist where people live.

When people talk about 15 minute walkable cities, what they're pitching isn't your average European city. There's also the fact that cars are double or triple parked all over the place because these cities were built well before cars were common place. If I walk out of an apartment on the edge of the beltway in Rome, or if I'm in downtown Athens, I'm not suddenly magically 15 minutes away from my job, and also 15 minutes away from the grocery store, and also 15 minutes away from entertainment. A city being so old that it can't realistically support traffic is not the same as a city designed to eliminate it.

Yeah, to be fair I'm not really arguing 15 minute cities, I'm more just arguing high density living in general, which is a more realistic path to strive for.

But in general, building homes is very expensive, so yes you are going to see more market rate homes. Which is why we also need to make building homes in general cheaper so our govt money is used better to actually build more homes.
