First of all you don't need a tux lol and no, they don't because most people already have nice, dress up clothes. And most guests aren't pressured. They actually want to go and celebrate their friends/family.

You gotta worry about so much. If you're dancing, people might think you look silly. There's a lot of pressure when it comes to meeting and impressing new people. Dressing up is expensive for a lot of people. Free food sounds good. I don't like environments where everyone drinks, though.

No, that's not it at all lol Bruce has always had trouble controlling his anger since he was a child. What he did was suppress/repress it. The army chasing him has nothing to do with what they were talking about.

You would have a point if they didn't also paint Bruce poorly as trying to "mansplain" Hulking to her. He's literally the Hulk, and he went through some real challenges in life. You are aware Bruce is very bad at controlling his anger, right? That's the entire point of the Hulk. Jen wasn't wrong. She is better at controlling her anger.

And she wasn't explaining how being "a" Hulk works. She was explaining how she worked, which is different than Bruce's experience.

The effectiveness of representation is not in question. The message it tries to send is not in question. What people get out of it is the issue.
