there's a death in midsommar that bothers me conceptually.

i think it's the black guy. he goes into a building and starts reading a book i think, that was forbidden for them to access. you see a guy in the doorway. the guy hits him over the head, and makes some weird moaning noises at the guy while he's dying. for some reason on my first watch, i didn't notice the killer didn't have any pants on so his dick was out. the idea of being immobilized, dying, with some naked dude with his dick pointing at me making weird noises freaks me out lol.

anyway for me, you gotta pick temps. hot vs cold isn't enough. is cold 40F? is cold -10F? this question can be definitively answered if you give actual numbers and ask which you prefer.

i look younger than almost 40 though. soft features, great head of hair, and my facial hair is like the facial hair of someone that just started getting it. sparse and super light/soft. i wish i could grow a manly beard, but my wife loves that i can't.

I don't particularly see Halal slaughtering as more cruel than slaughtering in general. The "suffers more" is just nit picking. So a cow bleeds to death over 30 seconds instead getting killed first by a kinetic rod and then drained of blood. Big deal. If you have that much of a problem with it you probably shouldn't be eating meat.

i'm not a person that cares about halal/kosher rules. and an isolated case of an animal suffering during the butchering process won't make me make any kind of decisions. but if you told me a butcher normally let their animals suffer, then i would try to avoid them.

not in a way that i would care about or budge because of. my mother can hound me all she wanted, i wouldn't care. the only person that could possibly sway me is my wife, but she wants kids less than i do.
