It's not a rumor, just not a widely known fact. It's just like a lot of restaurants use precooked food, including Red Lobster. There's not much need for a chef, just a cook.

Idk how to source this. Like a drink preparation guide or something?
I've worked with a ton of Starbucks employees also, having one in the store I work.

How do you think they make some of their special drinks so fast?

Old advertisements for instant were great: "why trust anyone else to brew your coffee?" and stuff like that.

You can drink any coffee cold. Also you wouldn't be a hypocrite for getting coffee from a coffee shop since that would be higher quality than instant.

Instant is delicious and allows me to drink it cold. I love cold, bitter coffee when it's warm.
I turned a buddy onto the coffee I drink cause he didn't know instant works just about as well in cold coffee.

And for any snob that looks down upon instant but buys coffee from an establishment like Starbucks, you're border line hypocrite.

Idk why the US is so snobby with coffee. Maybe it's just a cheap enough product where people pay more to feel superior.

Do any of you avoid processed food every day?
Looking at my diet, something is always processed. Heck, even my coffee is instant.
I mean, I make a full dinner for my girlfriend and me once a week, so the meat typically isn't processed, but everything has some salt or something in it.

tl;dr, Pasta is only slightly more expensive than ramen, nearly as fast to make, and WAY WAY healthier.

I like it, except I want meat. I do buy those cans of chef boyardee as alternatives for a quick lunch.
As tasty as pasta is, I want meat. Oh, I could throw in some hot dogs.

Anyways, thanks for the tip. Any quick meals are an interest to me.

I've always felt a little sorry for potheads. They can't seem to just relax and be open-minded without needing some plant to help get them there.

Aaaaand the triggering begins again...

Maybe it's your crowd. Not everyone does it to relax, as some pot won't help you sleep.

Most I know, it's just the "salt" sprinkled on top of whatever to make it better. I read both stoned and sober, and I'm not reading stoned to relax more.
I see movies that way to heighten the experience. Basically, it just makes everything better but isn't used just to bring myself down.

But it sounds like the pot is helping the "potheads" you know to reduce anxiety. They're probably using it for that reason then, you know, for some of the medical purposes.

I eat this stuff like every day but I walk like 30 minutes a day and have a kind of physical job.
Should I be concerned?
I eat both the cups and the ones you boil in a pan.
I know it's a lot of salt, but I also eat one home cooked meal a week and have some sandwich at work.
It's just so inexpensive and it makes it that much easier to enjoy all the time.

Did you wipe the face paint off or did you tell them it wasn't finished yet?

I wiped it off. I pleaded my case, but some people don't get sports. There's only so much you can do to try to tell someone to not be offended.
Overall, it was a disappointing experience cause the fans were pretty quiet.

Zero. Isn't diet soda actually worse or just as bad as regular soda?

There's still a lot we don't know about how our bodies process artificial sweeteners, but to say that it's "just as bad" has little evidence to support it. Usually what happens is people consume more calories because they don't get any from their soda.

Isn't there evidence of blood sugar spikes with certain artificial sweeteners?
I also question why a body wouldn't want to process something. Sounds like your body just wants something out of it...

This is probably the most millennial topic I've seen.

Every generation seems to teach the next generation less of the important stuff. I'm quite lucky to have been interested in cooking, but a lot of baby boomers didn't cook as much as their parents, so in turn their kids missed out. I did not luckily.
There are a lot of shortcuts that could be taken like using plastic ware to serve your food in so you can just place in the fridge when done. Also, I'll use prepackaged foods to save time as well. Those instant potatoes are such a time saver

Turn off game mode and try out some of its enhancing settings. Maybe some of the processing is necessary for a decent image.
Also, maybe the brightness/contrast needs some adjusting to hide some of the ghosting.
