I don't wanna have to like really dedicate myself to get it. I started with the library, then learned how inexpensive books can be. Then I purchased mostly and just recently checked out a couple books from my local library. It's not a scam, there's no big catch, it's just a company getting a lil more money by charging less. It's like discounted surplus product essentially. If I'm busy or they're long, probably closer to a dozen but that's how many I aim to read a year. Mind you, the books I read are typically under 250 pages. I read purely for fun, usually before work and I like them short so they last about 2 to 3 weeks with only small commitments a day. Sci fi that is short is what got me into reading cause I really didn't like it outside of childhood. Then I learned how fun they can be and not exhausting when they're short. Every now and again, I'll take on a long book (500+ pages) when I crave something epic. My dad used to have a tall antennae so we'd get channels for hundreds of miles, now I just use a 35 mile range one. It had late night cartoons and music videos.
