| pres_madagascar 12/30/20 10:02:02 PM #1 | I've played and beat every single AC game except Valhalla, and every time I'm like "hmm, I'm interested", I just can't pull the trigger and get it. I think about how Ubisoft games have progressed and all become so homogenous, with massive open worlds filled with endless pointless busy work, excessive grinding, etc.. Every single one of their games is essentially the same at their core now. Odyssey got fucking ridiculous after a while. Not to mention the excessive monetization. Ghost of tsushima was basically an AC game, but better. It had bloat, but almost all of it could be avoided if you wanted, whereas ubi games you are forced to do a big chunk of the side bloat in some capacity. Not to mention the culture at Ubisoft itself. Rampant sexual abuse with management that covers it up going to the highest level. Ubisoft has become one of the worst triple a developers/publishers. --- |
