I mean what can you even really do with a villain if you keep him around? You either have to redeem him or make him try again and neither of those sound like stories worth exploring. These big franchises only end up with 2 or 3 movies before the actor leaves so you might as well get some fresh villains in there.

I have enough faith in Marvel that they could bring back a villain and make it work but Kilmonger was so unwavering in his ideology it would feel a little hamfisted if he changed his mind.

Maybe it's easier to notice success when you're pulling 5 at a time but I feel like I've had better luck when I do multis on the ticket summon.

But yesterday I got AGL SSB Goku from a ticket summon so that's good I guess.

You can also get all of the medals from the Villain event (or maybe it's the Hero event) that runs on weekends. You can get some super levels from the Bojack in the baba shop also.

If your hp is between 50% and 80% Turles gives Bojack +50% atk/def and +30% if you're under 50% hp. He also has a 50% chance to stun with his super so he seems like a pretty good add! Kinda wish I saved some kais to put into Baby.

Wow this LR Black banner looks horrible. There's like 20 featured units and they're all pretty bad except Black. I was going to spend my last 50 stones on this but now I think I'm just going to save them.

Farming this Gohan EZA and I ran into a rainbow LR STR Goku. I figured I don't see him very often and I was getting a little bored so I decided to try my luck at Super STR SBR.

Success! It was VERY satisfying to win and it felt like I barely survived. I got some really clutch heals from Bee Pan and a dokkan attack that basically knocked out an entire fight against Turles and his full crew. Forgot to take a screenshot but my team was the same one I'm farming Gohan EZA with.

I was actually having a little bit of trouble with Potara in the 40s. I mean neither Vegito transformed so maybe he wrecks when he shows up but it was also just taking a long time since basically no one can do any damage besides LR Vegito Blue.

I'm going to switch my Super STR team around and I think that'll be better.

Yeah the main problem a lot of people have with 17 is that it's really hard to find friends of him but I believe they fixed that issue on JP.

Actually is the friend system update live on JP? I haven't heard much about it since it was first announced but I assume it's live now.

Well my general philosophy is that if I have any character considered S tier for a category (excluding supports generally) I'll consider using kais on them. I just used all of the STR Kais on GT Trunks and STR SSB Goku even though they really only fit on one or two teams.

Yeah someone on the reddit said that they completed all 77 levels just using Potara so I might just switch to that if super STR starts having problems.

Well I was also able to justify pulling on these banners for the orbs and extra kai. A kai is usually worth 5 stones and I don't know how much value the devs place on orbs but I'd say these were pretty close to 20 or 25 stones.

So just pretend that you only spent 20 stones for those trash units! So it's still a bad deal but could have been worse.

Against my better judgement I used the 50 stones to pull on the TEQ banner. I ended up getting the Tien and a SSJ3 Vegeta. Oh well! Doubt I'll get enough stones to pull on the Black banner so I guess it's time to start saving.

I'm really not a fan of the SR -> SSR - > UR grind to raise super attacks so I usually don't keep them around for that. If an SR can become a UR I usually feed all of the copies together to have 1 unit. Some of the URs are actually pretty good on their own even if they aren't optimal.

I felt the same way about awakening medals until I started checking the baba shop more often. Most of the medals you need can be bought there pretty regularly.

I went with training items over gems for this round because I've run out of training stuff a lot during this event.

Also wow this Ginyu event looks like a GRIND. It looks like there are 6 cards to get here and they all use their own specific orbs like the Namek Gohan? Do they all require farming the same amount as him or is it less?

I mean the team looks like a lot of fun and there's not much else to do right now so I don't mind but I think I might need to mentally prepare for this.

Yeah I have a 2 or 3 dupe Mai (with no orbs obviously) I could considering switching in. I really doubt the Whis would make a huge difference even with his +20% to defense and attack lowering super. His defense is bad enough that he would get obliterated by regular attacks imo. I guess I could give him a shot since there's no stamina cost.

Finally got LR Vegito to transform doing the Janemba event just because he keeps dodging so much.

His full 20 ki attack stat was 425k. Janemba attacked him once and got countered for 900k so I didn't even get to see how much damage his super would do. I mean honestly Jameba probably would have just dodged it anyway so whatever.

Yeah the original dokkan event was for STR Gogeta which is a pretty old unit. The Z-Hard stage was added for INT Gogeta within the last year and is definitely going to be more difficult for you.

When I was just starting out the 2 cards that carried me through most of the game were:

TEQ SSJ Bardock
AGL SSJ Vegito

I see that you have the Bardock so maybe try replacing Masked Saiyan with him on your fusions team. Your key strategy is going to be keeping Bardock on rotation and doing whatever you can to make sure that he seals super attacks. Sealing an opponent's super attack lasts for 2 turns so you can guarantee permanent sealing (assuming the enemy doesn't attack first on the 3rd round). Most of the older Dokkan events don't have any limit on sealing supers so that should be a big part of your strategy.

The Vegito was used mainly as a blocker but I'm at work so I can't really dig through your box to see if you have a good blocker to replace him.

This feels like one of those reviews where the number doesn't match the tone of the review I think. He praises the battle system but basically criticizes almost every other aspect of the game. Is the battle system really good enough to carry some of those flaws to a 9.3?

That Gotenks was made pretty obsolete by the PHY SSJ3 Gotenks but everything else in your post looks good.

Yeah for some reason none of the SSJ Goku cards are really that great that I can think of. I'm pretty sure I saw a stat on reddit that there isn't a SSJ Goku card with fierce battle which seems kinda weird.

Yeah they're not bad, Kefla is probably optimal on Potara and the main leader if you didn't get LR Vegito. The Gotenks is okay too if you don't have PHY SSJ Gotenks and you need a spot on your fusions team.

I beat AGF in the newest Boss Rush and got really nervous seeing Goku as the person I had to fight. I was out of healing and thought it was UI Goku. Turns out it's PHY Super Vegito and it was a bit of a joke compared to the AGF fight.

I just ran the INT Trunks stage about 250 times to get enough Android 18 medals so I'm sure I'll be okay on the STR Kid Gohan grind lol. You only need to grind 4 or 5 anyway to get ready for his EZA right? You get the rest from the mission rewards.
