Chocolate chip isn't even a top ten cookie. Snickerdoodles, peanut butter, oatmeal, white chocolate macadamia, grocery store frosted cookies, sugar, and every girl scout cookie are easily better. Chcolate chip is only really good when it's piping hot out of the oven and also has nuts in it.

Whatever is happening, it's not worse than the general shift in personalities that has cumulated over the last few years. You guys need to get over it and talk about things that make the site interesting, not just doom post about how you won't be able to post here by retirement age.

It would certainly be interesting to dig into the rabbit hole of the social media extremism pipeline but it seems like he just has some personal beef with Zuckbot. Feels like it would just point a finger at Facebook and say "see? Bad." Without delving into how people got there.

Kong leading the story just makes a lot more sense tbh. He can emote and communicate with humans and other titans in a way that Godzilla either cant or wont. At least not without deeming his character.

So it makes a lot more sense for him to take lead. Otherwise the humans would have had to and nobody wants that. So this was the best compromise.

As much as I love Godzilla this was a really cool way to frame the last two movies. We've got 30 Godzilla movies already; letting Kong take the lead is a fine change and it made the story a lot more interesting.

It was pretty bad. It had, like, years of build up that didn't feel like it was going anywhere, tied into a previous fantastic Thor story for no particular reason, and completely changed the lore of the symbiotes (again). All to bring in a really generic big bad who *minor spoilers* stomps on every hero as soon as he gets to Earth just to show he's a super real threat guys I promise. I didn't read much more of it because it felt have a dozen stories they've done already recently. Unless you're super invested in Venom and caught up on his previous stories, don't bother.

Why do people keep saying this? Kong literally turned Godzilla into a side character of his own universe. And the fights they had with each other were very careful to make sure neither one of them came out as clearly superior. They powered Kong way up to even be anywhere close to Godzilla who should have been able to blast his ass six ways to sundown.

I lived in a beach town for a decade and maybe went a dozen times. I hate the beach.

People keep trying to pit this movie against Minus one but they're not in a competition. Even more hilarious is when they try and pit American Godzilla movies against all Japanese ones which are clearly significantly more intelligent.

MIddle Earth. Apart from the reign of Morgoth and Sauron, it's got a relatively peaceful history. And even those didn't necessarily effect everyone on the continent.

I think its largely that mentally stable people dont go into every conversation worried about their flaws. Narcissistic do that too, but theyre usually overcompensating so its obvious in other ways.

Im a horribly flawed individual, but its not going to be something I type in every post or leave as a signature. Maybe youre talking to someone who is concerned or trying to mask their flaws? Oryou know, a troll, you already had one in this topic.

Apparently it's not a natural instinct. Humans are not designed for swimming and have never had a major interest in it until very recently. The majority of the world can't actually swim. It's just so ubiquitous in the first world that we don't think about a lot of people not having access to places where they could even learn.

Just skimming through the background it looks like this was basically the stance of the US for at least 30 years. Just no one else really wanted to stick their fingers in that mess until Little Jack Horner here came along.

I really like seeing success stories like this and Cyberpunk. The internet really likes to focus on negativity but companies that take that to heart and fix their games are great, rather than just saying "welp that failed, better shut down the servers". Many people would rather just feel some control over CE dying, rather than stick around to watch it slowly choke to death. It's a common coping mechanism
