Five Guys. Pretty sure I've heard a manager admit they give you a lot of fries so you don't think about how you just paid $25 for a shitty burger. A burger and Small fries from Five Guys compared to a "premium" McDonald's Burger and large fries usually has a price difference of about $3 or $4 and you get a better burger with many more customization options, and more fries. If you are somewhere that you are paying $25 for the basics from Five Guys, then the meal from McDonald's is probably one of those $19 ones that has been in the news recently. --- ?huh?........ it's just a box. |

Those all appear to have a 6 year warranty. I posted a unit from the same manufacturer with a 12 for half the price. The unit you purchased IS defenitly nicer than the Home Depot model, but also makes less financial sense. From Depot you will have a 12 year warranty, unless things have changed if it has issues and is deemed needing replaced you get credit to purchase a new one, that will have a another 12 year warranty. If it craps out after the 12 and you buy another that still leaves you with a guaranteed 24 years for the same price as you have spent here. The odds of your current unit needing service or parts after 6 years but before 24 is very high. I would be surprised if it made it more than 16 without needing replaced fully. --- ?huh?........ it's just a box. |

Homedepot, Lowes, etc. $500-550 gets you a 40 gallon with a 6 year warranty. Another $150-$200 gets you a 9 year warranty. Loll actually just checked Depot has a Reem 40 gal with 12 year warranty for $639 Cost of Water Heater Installation The national average for tank water heater installation is between $906 and $1,583 for the unit and labor --- ?huh?........ it's just a box. |

Given that you would have been a child at the time you probably didn't understand what was going on. The "Geoffrey Dollars" were gift certificates aka store credit. People frequently try to get returns in store credit when they don't have a receipt or some other situation which may cause the return to be denied such as an open video game or something. I am unfamiliar with Toys R Us ever refusing returns as a general rule or "scheme" so I find the story the TC tells to likely be lacking some details. Yup. These were essentially "gift cards" I seem to remember being able to get $1 ones as giveaways/promos sometimes, that way you would beg your parents to take you. --- ?huh?........ it's just a box. |

There's a number of movies that I can watch practically on a loop and never seem to tire if them. Goonies is one. Predator is another. The Road Warrior. Mary Poppins... Archgoat posted... The Princess Bride, Alien and Big Trouble in Little are a few I can watch over and over and still enjoy. These guys movie.
