Blades logic is sound here but Im more baffled by everyone being so quick to go that role is busted as hell, surely scum has a way to do it twice!

Everyone seems to agree Im not backup AND scum. I can prove that Im a backup. Lea + Sultan made this game, theres sure to be some weird role I can backup eventually.

My two cents - Corrik is probably scum, Kirby is probably town. Jailkeep is harsh as towns only form of protection because it prevents the target from performing its night action. Town must have some other form of protection that explains the lack of nk, which no one should claim btw. I would rather get mislynched than have that happen. But it makes sense in a game with almost 20 players and scum has at least one super powerful role

Ctes gives himself credit for helping to lead the lynch and while he did build a scum case, my impression is most of the work had already been done and it felt redundant. I was hoping Ctes would chime in more heavily on other things once he was caught up, but Knightz being scum was his primary focus.

Ulti is probably town, seems to have a very good read on ctes (ulti + Kirby mason cops just nailed sk ctes d1 last game) and says ctes is town. Thats the best thing working in ctes favor right now. But apart from that, I dont care much for ctes giving himself credit on the knightz mislynch when he built a scum case at a time when knightz dying felt like a foregone conclusion.

Calling that pre-emptive falsely implies its only a valid stance for me to take once Knightz flips scum. But in an alternate scenario where Knightz flipped town, Chang advocating not to lynch Knightz would still not make him legit. It would be the easiest thing in the world for scum to look at a mislynch and go golly gee Im not so sure you guys. You look great if the mislynch is averted and you can say I told you so if the mislynch happens.

For example, I was one of the first to read Ulti as probable town, even before you who then chimed in specifically agreeing with my read. I opted not to include the taco slot (inb4 Fandoms wrath) because to me, that was low hanging fruit as a town read and didnt feel like it honored the spirit of the question.

I hope Isquen starts chiming in more once his meds kick in but I havent seen anything to change my mind.

Ben is probably town, but he made a bad first impression on me for claiming early suspicion of me without actually giving a reason or engaging me about it in any way. Especially since he did this right after Blade suspected me with faulty/scummy reasoning, and it felt like Ben moved on once momentum stalled. Initial misgivings aside, Ben feels towny.

Kirby, whats your reasoning for wanting to kill myself, red and MI?

I took a closer look at Kirbys voting towards eod yesterday.

5.005 - votes me with vague post about taking a stance, no comment to indicate actually intended to vote Knightz

5.028 - says at peace with Knightz, would also lynch red

5.060 - Calls MI scum and says someone should shoot

5.097 - moves vote off me to Knightz

During this stretch, IGCD votes Knightz for the first time and Ulti moves his vote off Knightz, meaning no change in total # of votes for Knightz. And theres no real shakeup among alternatives to the Knightz lynch. If Kirby had voted me on purpose I dont see anything during this time to give him cold feet, so the likeliest explanation is an honest mistake. And this was when my mislynch odds were at their highest, I was tied (or roughly so) in votes with Knightz.

First impression - Chang is either a) town or b) godfather begging a scan. There is no way scum Chang who scans guilty, or anyone imo, would have the stones to stan powerful scum that blatantly. Its the kind of role Id see scum trying to save, but in a subtle way.

Peafs vibes are the towniest of anyones imo. I havent always agreed with his reasoning (I think he called Ulti town because of Lopen vanishing, which I disagree with) but his posts have all screamed sincerity. Isquen has regrettably little content but I highly doubt he comes in with that idgaf attitude as scum. Isquen didnt give a shit, and it was obvious.

Chang has been around but not done much. It feels like hes trying not to rock the boat until now all of a sudden taking a big stance on lynching someone other than Knightz. Even though thats ballsy as hell if scum/scum, I do think its possible. If knightz flips scum, Chang can easily go why would I stick my neck out for Knightz if Im scum too? etc.

Corrik almost never shows up for day 1. Hes popping up, calling himself confirmed and voting me without context. Obviously no one else knows Im town but looking back I think is opportunistic after early pressure on me, and not everyone who suspected me early can be scum. Corrik was late to that party but cant cite a reason for joining the mislynch train.

I have wondered the same thing. While I dont think Chang has shown himself to be town at all, blatantly trying to shift the lynch off Knightz as scum/scum seems the less likely scenario imo.
