I've been giving +1 town points throughout this entire game day. Saying -1 town points to you like I did to SBell is my memey way of showing disapproval for what you're saying.

And I fail to see how referring to "the living playerbase as a whole who casts votes in this day phase and is majorly comprised of town-aligned individuals seeking to satisfy a mutual goal of lynching town-opposed players" as simply motherfucking "town" is a slip by any means.

The fact that I have to explain this is saddening. Ruins all the fun I have with being playful instead of so rote serious with all my posts :x

Last game, which was his first game, he exhibited more independent thought than he has this game imo. He was a glorified pineapple vendor and devised a plan to trick scum all on his own. Nothing of the sort yet this game.

Interestingly enough though I think it probably unpairs Chang and Death though.

Regardless of what Kirby is, Death immediately jumped after Chang's assertion that Kirby slipped without a moment's hesitation. The least likely scenario I feel Death does this in is the world where he and Chang are both scum.

No, I'm saying that chang proposing it makes him less towny, not him acting on it. There's a nuance there.

Or if you want synonyms, I don't like that chang is directing or pushing for or dare I even say manipulating town to follow a silly idea as "if this guy's scummy but weak, just lynch his teammates."

If someone is scummy, fucking lynch them. Don't keep them around just to gamble on lynching their teammate.

it would have taken longer for him to answer, for one. as town there is no slip, you can start writing immediately and you actually know what your intent was. as scum there's maybe a half beat where you think "oh shit, did I actually slip?" and I think it's harder to get that real or authentic anger / annoyance out that something you wrote in supposedly good faith is being challenged

here's something interesting to me.

MI called my argument (not to lynch knightz and to go for someone more skilled and also scummy) scummy himself, and from what I've read ostensibly believes Knightz to be scum.

Yet he's voting me and crusading against me by doing exactly what I argued we ought to be doing (which he criticized me for saying!) lmao

Knightz has 6ish votes on him and isn't here. Pressure on him is irrelevant right now

But honestly most of last game we actually thought he was some kind of inventor because he did such a poor job of explaining what his role did. So we thought whoever he gave clothes to would actually get an ability to go along with them. Then he got roleblocked 3x so we couldn't confirm and it was only just before the game ended that we determined that he was just a self confirming "X vendor". In his case 'groovy clothes' rather than 'pineappes'.

Anyways I feel enough people have posted since my return that it's time to give a history lesson.

SBell has done this with me before. He has done this with me many times. He's even done this in a game where I murdered scum on 3 consecutive days.

SBell has a tendency to think I am scum most of the time and to harp on points basically everyone else knows is irrelevant. The key is, when SBell continues to double down like he has, even when everyone else is telling him his logic is wrong generally comes when he's town and he's deluded himself into arguments that everyone else knows aren't there. SBell and I have derailed games before by squabbling.

This isn't scum SBell fearing town Blade, this is town SBell when he's afraid of me and trying to play the hero.

Blade, listen to me. I need you to tell me what the hell you are on about here. As long ago as topic 1 I specifically said I did not have a problem with sbell the way you did, even after reading him wrong recently. That is clearly taking a side, and doing it a while ago.

What you should have said is I did not take a side immediately during professor Blades lecture, and apparently now I must die. Next time I promise to stand a bit closer and sniff your farts the very second Im instructed to do so.

I dont know whether Blade is being a gaslighting jerk for this or just punishing me for his selective reading. But either way, I dont appreciate it.
