I think the guy's name deserves to be in the thread at least once, so kudos to Drew Goddard for directing this movie. And co-writing it with Joss. Also, he wrote lots of Buffy and Angel, though Joss gets the bulk of the credit for these things due to fame.
Oh yeah, I saw that when I went and looked up the movie. I liked Cloverfield so that definitely played a factor
