That's his whole thing. Let's say Batman was an entirely new character and nobody knew anything about him. He could fight Scarecrow and nobody would have a good argument for how he would beat him. You would have to wait and see. I said if Batman was fighting Hulk, he'd probably invent some kind of gamma radiation suppressor (or whatever the Hulk is powered by). It's the best I've got without actually writing a fanfic about it and then everyone would say "lol fanfiction doesn't count" anyway.
So then I can say that Batman could beat Living Tribunal, Spectre, Galactus, Thanos, Darkseid, and any other god-like comic book character, all at the same time, because he'll figure out a way to do it. I can't be proven wrong, no matter how obviously incorrect I am about it. The 2 gods can literally think him out of existence, but he'll find a way to remain in existence and win. See how loaded that answer is?
