hey now, it doesn't ALWAYS have to be cheesy. it can just plain be bizarre or hilarious (Cody).

though we do also have guys like Punk who you can never tell if he's doing something scripted or just shooting. and with the whole 'reality era' we have going a lot of stuff will remain scripted, but the mic stuff is looser.

being scripted mostly refers to the winner, loser, the promos, and some spots in a match usually, however that tends to be arranged in the ring in real-time usually. the promos are getting looser now and focusing more on improv with a theme or specifics that can or can't be okay'd. wins and losses will 100% be scripted. the stuff that goes on during a match though isn't really "fake" in the sense of they dont' get hurt. for a recent and unusual example, cena didn't really "fake" getting his ass kicked by Brock Lesnar, he did. some shots do specifically need to be delivered hard, and there's obviously no way to fake falling 20 feet on a guy - you can avoid the impact being what it's viewed as, but you can't avoid a 200 pound man + gravity, or a bunch of repeated sharp kicks to the head.
