I'm not saying timeouts don't happen with gems, but it's not as frequent. Also, I see 'high level' mentioned here a lot. SFxT definitely has issues, but the concerns I have for it are independent of how tournament viable it is or isn't. I think they can fix a lot of the problems with the game through an update, but will that make it more 'exciting' to watch at a high level? Maybe, maybe not--but if it makes it fun to play at a lower level, who cares?
