You really don't understand basketball, do you? LeBrick's Midrange numbers are about the same as Durrant and Kobe because of the way they are guarded. Thanks to no handchecking allowed anymore, as well as not being able to have Center's lie in wait to toss his ***, LePassive is guarded soft, to do everything they can to KEEP HIM OUT OF THE LANE. No one is scared of his mid range game (and why would they be, 40% with wide open looks). Now watch how Kobe and Durant are guarded. They are not even given one inch by the opposing player, because god in heaven if they get an open look from 15 to 18 feet consistently, they are dropping 40 on you that night.

Who gives a rat's ass how they guard LeBron when comparing him to Kobe? It's about production. If Kobe is getting guarded tight and forced into tougher shots, that's because he's a less effective player at getting to the rack and getting to the line. 95% of his clutch shots came from the jumper. If you don't fear his drive, why WOULDN'T you play up on him? On the flip side, 64% of LeBron's shots came from the jumper, but 36% of them came from the inside. Where he has an eFG% of .609. Of course you're going to sag off him.
So, you'd rather take the guy who hits 39% of his shots nearly all of the time, or the guy who hits 43% of his shots two-thirds of the time, and 61% of his shots one-third of the time because, here's the kicker, the first guy gets guarded tougher. You want the tougher, less efficient shot because you hate LeBron that much.
You have absolutely no idea how stupid you sound, and it's either hilarious or sad. I don't know yet.
Except he doesn't get that WHEN IT MATTERS. When was the last time you saw LeAirball get a layup or dunk in end of the game situations. He (if he decides to shoot, instead of pass as fast as humanly possible) has to take contested jumpers, which he doesn't hit, because he has no midrange game whatsoever.
