I've hit a wall in 3s online. I'm good enough now where some of the really good players want to play me, but my connection and distance is so bad that they eventually are always like "sorry too much lag but ggs." Maybe I'll move to California.
I was playing some AE this morning because who cares how the connection is in that. Played a high ranked Chun player, and something that's been puzzling me in 3s suddenly made sense. A lot of low level Chun players you find online in 3s do some really dumb and confusing s***. Like "why did they think that was a good idea" kinds of things. Mashed out legs in random spots, constant crossovers with that crouching forward roundhouse move, stuff like that. Now I understand. They are SF4 players. Taking their SF4 game into SF3 and of course it doesn't work there. Pretty similar to how I try to play 3s Ibuki and Makoto in SF4 and end up losing all the time.
