Nope. There is no such thing as a "just" response to what he did, but trying to help a deranged man is better than just one more dead body tbqh.
You honestly believe such a man can be "helped"? You think someone should be rewared with free food, a roof over their head, and someone to keep them company?
Cluture difference perhaps. Killing him may not solve much, but one has to wonder why this man deserves to continue living when he's taken so many lives...
Maybe he can, maybe not. Killing him doesn't fix anything, trying to help him is the far better solution.
