I have this irrational hatred of robots. I’m not sure when it actually came to fruition or why because I ate that s*** up when I was a kid. But now every time I see one this wave of irritation and disgust comes over me. They just look SO. F***ING. STUPID. Of course what looks stupid is subjective but robots seem to do it for me all the time. And I’m sure I like a bunch of stuff that definitely looks stupid to other people.
I guess the best explanation for my hatred that I can come up with at this moment is because they’re ugly. Aesthetics are important to me in determining what I like so I’m a looks over personality guy usually. So exceptions to my robot hate are those that don’t necessarily look like robots or are more humanoid in general.
That being said, I could not care less about this piece of junk “character.” Everything he does is annoying because it’s inherent with being a goddamn piece of metal that moves on its own. I honestly don’t remember if I’ve ever touched this guy in Brawl. I have this policy where I try out every character in these games so I could get the feel for everyone/find some surprises and whatnot but I can’t remember if I kept to that in Brawl or made an exception because looking at this guy filled me with so much hate that I skipped over him. Even if it had turned out that I was the best with it or it felt the most comfortable to me I already know that I couldn’t bear seeing it on screen for that long and me being the one actually controlling it. Yes I have issues.
