And when I say temporarily I really mean temporarily because as soon as MSG realised him and Cobain were hiding in the same place, MSG punched him square in the head, causing Cobain's very existence to cease. MSG then took several minutes punching every exploded piece of Cobain into even more pieces, until there were essentially millions of Cobain pieces littering the street. Then, Minio summoned a City Council worker to work on cleaning up that trash from the floor. It was taken into a trash compactor and crushed utterly.
"Fair," said Comm.
Then Minio caused the trash compactor to explode, then sent the exploded husk into the sun. For good measure Minio also wiped out everything Cobain had ever done in his pre-b8b life, so his SAT score was literally erased, for example.
As MSG witnessed this rather complete death he had been distracted from the matter at hand, Caelus. MSG snuck into the building as Caelus rounded the corner to look for him. MSG prayed he would not be found as he used the elevator to ascend to the roof of this office block.
There was no disturbance.
"Moo," said Charles Barkley, which alerted Caelus. He hurriedly pressed a button which caused a giant fly-swat to appear from Charles' mouth. MSG could do nothing to avert his course, and he was smacked cleanly in the back. His apoca-fists did nothing to break the fall or, indeed, break the giant fly swat that hit him and smacked him clear out of the sky.
MSG winced, knowing this was likely going to be the end for him as he soared through the sky. He didn't know how he would land but knew it would almost certainly be the end of him. His nose began to bleed.
Fortunately for MSG it was his lucky day.
edwardsdv was walking down the same street, just several hundred yards away, with his back to MSG. Sadly he did not see him coming. MSG fell on top of eddv, apoca-fists first (MSG had the werewithal to do that), and exploded eddv. This gave MSG a kind of upwards cushion, breaking his fall and allowing him to land safely.
"Well then," said MSG as he went about his day. Charles Barkley growled in frustration, knowing he had not quite executed the kill.
