Topic	Seriously, why is there only one fighting game tournament on the scale of Evo?
transience 08/01/11 10:20:00 AM #50:	a rankings system. they technically have one - Wolfkrone is the #1 seed for Evo, for instance - but I'd like to see that stuff public. make a bracket that people can see and seed all the players to give people a sense of who's who and what's an upset. -- like that, basically. I'd be really interested to see who the top 5 players are. of course, fgs aren't big enough or pay enough money where players can just go to every tournament in the country, so it might just be futile. it'd be awesome if they could get there though. too bad somebody doesn't pick up Evo like ESPN picked up WSOP. that could really trigger a popularity explosion. you have to know Evo is on in order to find it whereas you might just stumble across it on TV. -- xyzzy <cite>transience posted [p:153816] in Seriously,...
