I hate Blademasters, I do
If I don't stay at tier 1 and pump Hunts for a while at the beginning, my games versus good Orc players are invariably short and one sided. I'm still working out the kinks on base blocks, and I think I might start building a couple Ancient Protectors to minimize the BM base harassment. Also gotta start building higher tier buildings in the back of the base instead of the front, I've had a fair amount of AoL and Chimaera Roosts cancelled at unfortunate times.
It seems like in the long run most of the stuff that's good against Orc happens at tier 3 for Night Elf. Getting there alive is sometimes an issue! There's a lot I can do to improve though. Better base builds, leaving room in the back of the base for buildings, and I gotta start remembering to buy Dust of Appearance. I haven't been doing that and it seems like basically a necessity against Orc.
