I'd like others to now compare my list. I only just now kind of came up with it. There are some general constants I use but it can easily change.

5. Back to the Future
4. Rebel Without a Cause
3. Evil Dead
2. The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou
1. There Will Be Blood

It's not perfect, but at least it's varied. I can see people saying it lacks more foreign/classic/independent films but that doesn't bother me much. The point is, it's a more varied list, even if a couple of the films are more mainstream/predictable.

you're a type of guy who values entertainment above all else in his movies.

Myself, I like "good movies", but the cinematography/'feel' of the movie is the most important

excluding the 2 godfathers for my list

1. Collateral
2. Hero
3. No Country
4. se7en
5. Alien

and by entertainment, i mean 'having a good time watching the movie' type of person.

mainly because of 5, 3, and 2. 4 and 1 are just good movies
