So the last news topic has me thinking about the Vita and 3DS. 3DS has been a failure, so obviously we'll have to wait for the 3DS trade show to see where they are course-correcting to. But assuming that they don't have anything game-changing, what hope does it have of being the success that previous handhelds have been? I'm thinking Pokemon is an obvious boost, certainly in America where stuff like Monster Hunter might not be that big.
Vita, I dunno. It looks sweet but I just don't know why anyone would buy it. Well, okay sure there's always going to be a nice little handheld gaming market, but I'm talking about the system being a success and not just something that did kind of OK with limited expectations.
Drifting back to Nintendo... I think of Pokemon again, and think about Pokemon as an iOS/Android game. How big would that be?
