Ego is a living planet, with total control of his own mass down to the molecular level. He has used this to disguise himself as a lifeless and barren planet in order to trap foes, then manipulating his surface to absorb them, spawning organic sensors and carnivorous plant life to this end. Ego has shown the ability to increase his own temperature in order to destroy creatures on or inside of him, to create 'anti-bodies' of sorts to eliminate beings that resist absorption, and possesses massive telepathic and psionic abilities capable of shattering planets.
