New Son Gambit (Marvel Comics) - Gambit from an alternate universe that reached his full potential and literally burned the planet killing everyone in the process. he can time travel, dick with subatomic particles pretty much however he damn well pleases, and 'roid himself.
none have problems with specific time periods.
