Uh no. Plasma are the best for gaming. Plasma > LCD > LED. LCD isn't bad a second choice, but if you game a lot, I'd stay away from LED's. It just looks bad imo. Plasmas have better blacks which is better for gaming imo. LED makes everything to bright and when you move causes blurring effects.
If you are going for Plasma, Panasonic is generally considered the best, Samsung and Sony being 2nd. LED's the best brand is Samsung or Sony, but they picture is considerably different and really depends on your taste(neither are bad).
this flat out isnt true...at least these days, maybe ~5 years ago lol. LEDs can produce comparable if not flat out better dark levels to plasmas no contest in the modern day world. Not to mention reduced power consumption and thinner screens. LEDs are the best.
