In the films, the lightsaber > Force. You can tank everything the force throws at you, but if you get hit by the lightsaber you're done. That's why I rank Windu so high. But if we're talking about EU stuff, the Force gets pretty ridiculous.
No, the lightsaber was made to look overpowered in the movies, but it's really just a weapon. The Force is so much more powerful, as Yoda has stated. Yoda and Sidious could defeat even Mace Windu's lightsaber skills, as Mace shouldn't even get the chance to hit them.
