Yeah, but that was before Lucas reportedly said that. He got really focused on the prequel era in recent years, especially with The Clone Wars and the live action show they're working on.
The Old Republic is an exception to the rule, I guess.
Well the Old Republic is only a few thousand years after the KotOR era, it's set a long time BEFORE the prequels, so I don't think that counts in his "no games that take place in the New Jedi Order era."
