The EU has a lot of sad deaths. It's like Luke, Han, and Leia are the only ones who seem to be living now... I of course don't know for sure, but that's what it seems like.
What about Kyle Katarn? I know he's a big character in the New Jedi Order or so, I don't know a whole lot about him though.
