The interview approach is just tradition, as this is a reboot of something that was done years ago. The reason for asking for the questions on a different board is merely for convenience. It makes it much easier for me to compile the questions (and prevent questions for purging quickly) is they are all in one centralized location on a dead board. As for your last statement, that's not exactly within my power so I'm not sure why you're lecturing me on that aspect.
I didn't mean for it to be a lecture. It was just an observation.
I like the idea of increasing positive interactions between the userbase and the staff but I'm not a fan of there being this buffer between the staff and the users.
