True, but Seiya's main characteristic isn't his blocking or anything. It's "somehow not dying despite taking damage." Which would translate to HP. I think.

True, but Seiya doesn't even have an HP stat as far as I know so it's kind of hard to really judge how much that affects him <_<
I'm kinda seeing that as defense=blocking an attack/withstanding it with no damage and hp as getting damaged but not dying.
...Admittedly not the best way to judge it, but still. Seiya has taken attacks by Gods before, who are much stronger than he is and he didn't die. He wouldn't die from his own power in one hit when he has already canonically survived stronger hits.

No, Ditto would definitely survive at least one attack. Seiya (from what I can tell) would need at least 2-3 hits to take it down.
Even in that case, Seiya wins. Ditto can only land one attack on Seiya thanks to his "no attack works against him twice" thing. Then Ditto would quickly run out of attacks and start struggling, which sure as hell wouldn't take Seiya down >.>
