While the spellcasting battle between Rand and Voldemort was rather close at the beginning, Rand's evil scouring powers soon put Voldemort down for good. Votals: 21-7.
(1) Dream World Ditto Ditto, from pokémon, is a creature capable of duplicating its opponents down to the cellular level, also mimicking their skills and abilities. This Ditto, being a Dream World creature, possesses the Impostor ability, which allows it to come into battle pre-transformed into its current opponent. It is additionally equipped with a Choice Scarf, which increases its speed by 50%, but allows it access only to a single ability, spell, or skill possessed by its opponent (though it still retains its ability to copy all characteristics). It is fully trained, perfectly raised, and Shiny, the ultimate example of its species.
(8) Pegasus Seiya From Saint Seiya, Pegasus Seiya is one of the Saints of the Zodiac, who wears the Bronze Armor of Pegasus, and later on, his own God Cloth. This powerful protective armor is an illusion, a physical representation of his Cosmos, his ability to harness the energy of the Big Bang through his own body. While donning his God Cloth, Seiya's Cosmos is infinite, allowing him full access to that energy. He is capable of moving at speeds well in excess that of light, dishing out blows so powerful that they can damage incorporeal entities, and no attack he can survive will work on him twice. Perhaps Seiya's most defining feature is his grit: he is able to endure incredibly powerful assaults and resurrect himself through sheer force of will. Seiya just looking at this write-up. Even if by some miracle Ditto picks the perfect attack for this fight (although perfectly trained, this Ditto doesn't have a trainer giving it orders and is just as likely to pick something worthless) after the first attack Ditto has lost literally all of his damage output.
Wait, if Seiya can endure a strike from his most powerful attack, shouldn't the Ditto be able to as well?
Edit: Oh, wait, forgot Ditto keeps it's HP when transformed. I dunno, how good would you figure Seiya's equivalent is in comparison?

One big drawback to Ditto is low PP; he can only use the attack he chooses 5 times before he has to resort to using Struggle, which will kill him pretty quick <_< Even if Seiya can't land a hit, he could just stand there and still win.

No, Ditto would definitely survive at least one attack. Seiya (from what I can tell) would need at least 2-3 hits to take it down.

True, but Seiya's main characteristic isn't his blocking or anything. It's "somehow not dying despite taking damage." Which would translate to HP. I think.

I'm kinda seeing that as defense=blocking an attack/withstanding it with no damage and hp as getting damaged but not dying. ...Admittedly not the best way to judge it, but still. Seiya has taken attacks by Gods before, who are much stronger than he is and he didn't die. He wouldn't die from his own power in one hit when he has already canonically survived stronger hits.

Even in that case, Seiya wins. Ditto can only land one attack on Seiya thanks to his "no attack works against him twice" thing. Then Ditto would quickly run out of attacks and start struggling, which sure as hell wouldn't take Seiya down >.>

The hard part to decide whether he one-shots him or not would be separating defense from HP. We should probably get a definition for future Ditto matches. It doesn't matter much here since it's a win-win for Seiya, but it could be a big problem against say, Voldemort. ...Actually Voldemort is a bad example but you know what I mean.

I'd argue pretty much every character in this contest could handle DW Ditto w/ Choice Scarf, only because of said Choice Scarf. Without it, he's pretty much an even match with most character.

I don't know, he beats a lot of glass cannons. Voldemort gets owned hard when someone has an auto-instant kill that comes out before he can get his off. Rand probably also goes down hard to eating his own Balefire. Mewtwo...depends on how game mechanics translate to the anime/movie setting I guess. A lot of reality warpers would lose to it too since it would get to do their thing before them, although Sarda has an out in that his abilities are specifically "do what Sarda wants" instead of "do what the user wants" to ensure that even if you copy his powers, he still trolls you.

Doesn't he copy their HP as well?
Regardless, if we go by Pokémon mechanics, a big difference is that it has less ability to use most moves, so the primary difference between non-Choice Ditto and random enemy is that the battle is a complete toss-up unless it can be proved that they wouldn't be defeatable within 5 uses of each move. Choice is kinda necessary here to avoid really stupid mirror match situations and make it so that there's a reason to vote for Ditto for any reason other than favoritism.
I honestly wouldn't take Choice Scarf Ditto against pretty much anybody, since I don't see any reason to think a trainer-less Ditto would pick the best move for the fight he was in.
