When the joke isn't funny, I don't laugh. This is my serious face. An OK joke vote:
"McNeely. Too suave and good at shooting to lose to someone who wouldn't even know what a banana fishing rod is."
A joke vote that pisses me off:
"McNeely can dominate Rahl with his alluring voice, move so fast he won't be able to shield himself in time to deflect his shots, his bible will protect him from subtractive magic, and be unaffected by anything Rahl throws at him because he's immortal."

I figured you would see people were joking and even if you didn't think it was funny you would go "well, okay. Not like it's gonna matter." Just relax. Why? Because Dan is also an idiot (as well as a lot of the npcs in the game lmao). The girl also took the drug (he said so himself) yet he thought he could just shoot her and be done with it. Also why offer her the drug again if she already took it like he said unless it has to be taken multiple times Wesker style etc. Sure he could have been lying but why waste the effort on the act then (unless he just wanted someone to bang). Another reason the bad writing could be used against him is how the hell could HE not notice SHE had a shotgun etc in a cutscene (gameplay sure but whatever).
I would laugh so hard if the next game(they are making a fourth one) came out and said "yeah he made up the whole thing and she believed him."
