Yeah, obviously the "no free agent" thing didn't work out as well as I thought it would. I guess I'll take all the signups and do what I did last year for the free agents: pairing likes with likes consistency-wise from past records. Therefore, it'd be highly advantageous for aspiring oracle newbies to request someone who has been there before or you'll end up with another newbie / a non-performer (you probably don't want to be paired up with LMS, Tsunami, if he decides to show up in here!)
By the way, forgot to mention this in the opening post, but here's how the team competition works:
1. Each team consists of two people.
2. Predict the winner and percentage for every match, like you normally do. Everybody makes ONE prediction for each match, which counts for the individual contest and the team contest.
3. Your team score is equal to the two team members' scores added together.
4. If one player misses a prediction, they will get either the average score for the match or their partner's score, whichever is lower. This way, a missed prediction won't kill the team's chances. However, if both players miss the same match, they will score zero. This rule ONLY applies to the team scores.
