Hyetal - Broadcast
Unfortunately this brand of electronica/dance/whatever just doesn’t do it for me all that much. I like it for sure, but I’m more of a trance kind of guy. At this point it’s just background noise to whatever else I’m doing, and not background noise I can acknowledge a lot. I think there a lot of things going on in this that I enjoy, but as a complete piece of music, it’s not for me. Track two is enjoyable, and I suppose it’s because of the voice on the track, I find it enjoyable to listen to. Whereas I’ve been complaining about things getting boring, I think things on this album develop too quickly. The track “Searchlight” has some of my favorite aspects on the album, but they start cramming more and more on top of it, and I lose the qualities that I enjoyed and now have far too much noise to deal with.
