Homura destroys Red and his pokemon easily. time stop followed by shooting and bombing the living daylights out of all of 'em. pokemon can enjoy having a grenade in their insides. and her default opener is more than just bullets, hell i'm pretty sure she's done explosions more often than that. from there even half the things she's got stored in her hammerspace would destroy the hell out of everyone else. really isn't any argument for him. witches in Madoka are better than anything Red's got in the first place.
The strength of a villain has no impact on the strength of a hero, you know. Otherwise many, many jRPG leads would be going out and trashing Sarda and co.
