1. The Walkmen - Angela Surf City (Live on the Interface)
Haven't heard a song from them in a couple of years. They seem like a great act to see live if they perform like this
2. Neko Case - Hold On, Hold On
Pretty good country song and I realized how I recognized her voice after looking her up
3. Skylar Grey - Love the Way You Lie
Wasn't very effective at hitting those high notes but she was interesting from start to finish
4. Tove Styrke - Chaos
I was more intrigued by the synthesizer sounds and how to pronounce her name than her voice, but the entire package was fine
5. Ben Howard - The Wolves
Needs more of the chorus and less of Ben Howard
6. Yellow Magic Orchestra - Rydeen
Random sounds like horses galloping and lasers being fired negatively impact what is an already above-average song
7. Lamb - Gabriel
Inconsistent vocal style that ranged from pleasant to annoying
8. Protest the Hero - Spoils
Not a bad song if you can completely block out the vocals
Not a great week by any means but certainly an improvement from last week
