Running around the corner was Mer. "Uh-oh," said Dante and Tom, hiding behind GenSag, Nio and Ryoko.
"What's up?" asked Ryokho. "I SAW THAT TYPO XIII!" she roared with a sideways glance.
"Oh, sorry," said I.
RYOKO replied "damn right," and turned back to Dante.
"We kind of...kept this guy captured...in Lithuania. We forced him to watch Glee."
"Oh. Well. Uhh, just stay with me and I'll hide you from him. Don't want the team to implode."
"Isn't that what Oxbridge did when he saw us?"
"Yes, it's quite an ironic role-reversal, isn't it?" I said smugly. "I am such a goddamn brilliant writer."
Mer, meanwhile, was introducing himself to the rest of the team.
There was little time, however, and bbbtime looked like he was going to snap somebody. So they quickly hurried into the lift, Mer smiling at his new team and looking forward to getting revenge on TNUC.
They enjoyed the soothing music.
At the top, the lift said "you are now getting head. I mean...into the head. You are now at the head area of this base. Thank you for riding with SafeLifts."
"Why thank you!" said Dante.
"It's an automated voice-never mind," said JeffRaze forlornly.
The lift doors slid open. ScareChan was standing with his back to them. "Nice of you to join me. I'm ScareChan."
