Why should a school take a neutral position on being kind and respectful to your fellow man?
Because it would be absolutely awful if they did not take a neutral stance. How would you feel if schools started teaching the students to support the political party that you oppose? Does that sound fair? You can tell a child to respect and be kind to all people. You cannot throw sexual preference into the mix though. That is a completely inappropriate way of handling it and it is just trying to manipulate them into your way of thinking.
