That law is dumb, but the cops' job isn't to decide if a law is dumb, it's to enforce the laws regardless. Harassing them about it is just going to get you trouble, as it rightly should since you're wasting the time they could be using to deal with real crimes.
Yeah an awful law but the cops are just doing their job. These people are idiots for dancing because they knew they could get arrested, they just felt like being rebels.
