#281:

Good decisions were made with the script in Season 2, that's for sure.

I actually watched this episode last night, but didn't feel like writing so I decided to wait until the morning to do it.

Season 3, Episode 5: Homecoming

I haven't addressed Scott, yet, but that's because I don't really have an opinion on him. He's kind of bland right now. Hopefully he has a deep, dark secret or something coming along. Or is he a callback of sorts? I feel like they mentioned him as having been encountered earlier when the offered him as a potential love interest. Was he a member of the swim team? Anyways, I'm glad they didn't really go full force with a Buffy-Scott relationship, though it'd be interesting to see what happens regarding Angel if that did come to be.

I liked this episode. For one, watching Sarah Michelle Geller and Charisma Carpenter march around in formal wear was pretty fantastic. But the plot was pretty nifty as well. They could have actually given a little more screen time to Slayerfest in my opinion, because it seemed like the conclusion came much too quickly. It was nice seeing the Gorch vampire again. Hopefully he's like a reoccurring Mid-Boss, or something.

Addressing the Xander-Willow happenings, I actually liked how they played out. It seemed liked something that could naturally happen, and both actors did very well in the scene. I like a Xander-Willow couple better than Xander-Cordelia or Willow-Oz anyways.

The Mayor is oozing potential. I can't wait to find out more of what his deal is, and how Trick is involved.
