I don't get why people hate dowsing.
It's completely optional. Tap it once and it goes away.
Then you can go find the scattered stuff like any other Zelda game.
Dowsing just makes the fetching slightly easuer by telling you exactly where something is if you dowse from any two spots and draw a mental line straight in front of you from each lockon and find out where the lines cross. So the fetch quests can take slightly less time.
This is really a problem?
