artifact hunt was pretty bad but at least you can get most of them on the way to the end, it only really impacts the first playthrough negatively. that's the difference between the better metroid games and something like SS, they get even more enjoyable over time where SS really blows it's load on the first play and is dreadful to actually attempt replaying it, not worth the $70 to get one good playthrough of a game(lol forcing you to buy an accessory that no other games are using, and then the motion controls still aren't very good)
