I agree that $299 would be a good spot for Nintendo, and what they might go with, but a 360 with a tablet controller? Nah. It'll be a more capable system than the 360.
In terms of what? from the evidence i've seen they don't even plan to have an internal HDD. An Xbox 360 without a HDD is about $149. The memory and processor isn't that much more powerful than 360 or PS3.
Bottom line is it runs current gen titles. That's what devs are making now.
For me the price is down to how much the Tablet is worth. If it's more than $300 then the tablet has to be in the region of $100.
