I think Elliot was at her worst in the first few seasons. She was just annoying. When she went into private practice and got more confident, she was less annoying, but she still had several terrible moments. And she somehow became an extreme hypocrite. And also out of nowhere adopted a "I'm better than everyone and no one helped me get where I am today" attitude. Like wtf was up with that.
However, aside from all that crap, she was sometimes a good character. Season 7 was probably when she got better. And then season 8 she was pretty awesome.
