When she went into private practice and got more confident, she was less annoying, but she still had several terrible moments. And she somehow became an extreme hypocrite. And also out of nowhere adopted a "I'm better than everyone and no one helped me get where I am today" attitude. Like wtf was up with that. However, aside from all that crap, she was sometimes a good character. Season 7 was probably when she got better. But I've developed this pure hate for laugh tracks, so no show that features one will ever be among my top favorite shows. I mean I still love Friends, but it just doesn't come close to touching Scrubs. It is a top tier sitcom, I just don't see it as Friends tier in terms of rewatchability. I also think it is kind of unfair to hold "laughtrack" against Friends. Friends was shot and produced in an entire different time and things have changed a lot since then. But the inclusion of a laughtrack doesn't exactly change what made Friends good. The same episodes sans laughtrack would still amuse me and make me laugh. Is it vaguely annoying after we've been spoiled by shows like Community and HIMYM? I suppose. But it's also something that it's much too late to change. Like, Chandler is god tier, Joey is close, Ross is pretty great. Then the three girls... are whatever. Monica and Phoebe are usually good, while sometimes boring, and sometimes terrible. Rachel is always terrible with a few good moments. They just don't come close to the quality of the top five in Scrubs, or Parks and Rec, or Community.
