I will gladly challenge you to Amplitude, sir. Except I don't have a modem on my PS2.
In 3rd grade, at my before school program, we had an old Apple II e with Winter Games. One day there were five of us playing it. A 5th grader named Matt knew that I needed to beat him in the final event, Bobsled, in order to win the Olympics. Bobsled is a simple matter of pressing left and right at the correct times to navigate the turns without flipping, but timing is critical.
Matt finished his third and final attempt. It was better than my previous mark. With my last chance to beat him, I started down the course and...he came up behind me and put his hands over my eyes. I didn't have time to shake him off me, so I ran the course's timing completely from memory, and got the best time out of all of us.
