Started off with a loss in hours for at least the next week to two guys who are totally incompetent. No big deal, completely typical and only a minor annoyance. Came home and realize that my site admin had decided we should "reshuffle" and "try something else" so instead of Webmaster I get to be some guy's underling who was rehired. Guy walked out, abandoned the website and community because he couldn't get his way. He has no people skills and just yells at everyone, wants to run the site alone and now I basically get to be his secretary. I got the guy the position on the site in the first place and he folded in six months; I've been part of the site for eight years and have devoted almost a decade of my life to it. The realization that eight years of my time are not equal to some goon's six months of whining and bickering really stings.
Then to top it all off, my writing partner wants to change an extremely important part of the story so her character can live happily ever after with a deceased ex. This one is a long story, so that's about all the explanation I can give. The original plotline has her finding happiness in the future and with someone who shared the burden of loss with her for several years (vague description of the fiction). It's just completely horrendous that she wants to go with that path, and since she's a girl I can't tell her I profusely disagree.
tl;dr: It was a pretty nice night, I think. Cast out by two of the few places I really felt like I belonged to.

Save My contests are awful, without exception. Timjab is an amazing user, the eeveelutions suck, mark sanchez is the best qb in the league, and it wasn't Brock.
